Bulletin: Parents, Your Involvement Matters ... in MATH, too! (Part 1) (2005). Stressing that math skills are a key to a child’s future, this Bulletin gives parents suggestions for how to help children develop a positive attitude about math along with fun suggestions for weaving math concepts into everyday life. There is an example of a 6th grade math standard from the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks and directions on how to read the standard. A simple explanation of algebra walks the reader through the basics. Useful resources included. English, Spanish or Portuguese

Bulletin: Helping Your Child Learn Math, (p.2) (2000). Get tips on how to help your child develop a positive attitude toward math, and how to keep math alive when you’re on the go with your kids. Also, get familiar with the math standards for Massachusetts. English, Spanish or Portuguese
